![]() Do you have a headset, a controller or a tracker turned on and located so that it sees a base station? If not, then they remain gray. SteamVR detects the base stations only when you have a tracking device that sees them (because your PC is not a direct connection with them). Which one of those you have? If you don't have those, then you don't have the BT device and you need to turn them on/off manually. It's located in the Vive's or Vive Pro's link box or in the Index headset itself. Bluetooth SteamVR mentions is the specific BT device that's only job is to connect base stations. ![]() Windows detect it, how? You don't need to plug them in and normally you even shouldn't. ![]() Base stations don't need connection to PC, you just put them to your room and turn them on, that's it. Are you new to SteamVR? Sounds like a problem not understanding how SteamVR tracking works.īluetooth is just optional, it's for firmware updates and putting base stations to sleep when SteamVR is not active. ![]()
